Digital Switchover and subtitling
With the Digital Switchover very much underway, VisitEngland, RNID and EHRC have drawn up a useful factsheet to alert hoteliers to the possible loss of subtitles from establishment TV sets as a result of the switchover.
The upgrade in TV distribution systems to digital may result in the loss of subtitles and audio description on televisions which could have a profound effect on hotel guests.
