Double Quest success for Halo
Leominster Leisure Centre and Bridge Street Sports Centre in Leominster have been awarded 'Excellent' and 'Highly Commended' respectively by Quest.
Both sites are managed by sports trust Halo Leisure.
Leominster scored 85 per cent, matching Halo's previous highest Quest score, achieved by Ross Swimming Pool.
It also sees the leisure centre rank as Quest's joint top dual-use facility in the country. It is shared with Minster School and boasts a swimming pool, gym, indoor and outdoor courts and a café.
"We are delighted with the award from Quest," said Simon Gwynne, acting centre manager. "It's a great result for every member of the team at Leominster and is a fantastic reflection of their hard work and the service we offer. Members of the public can be sure of a warm welcome when they come and visit our facilities."
Bridge Street Sports Centre scored 81 per cent.
Jon Argent, Halo Leisure's Chief Executive, said: "I'm very proud of the teams involved in gaining these awards and I congratulate them on their achievement. Continuous improvement is an essential element within the Halo business model."
