Drayton Manor opens £1m Drunken Barrels ride
Drayton Manor Theme Park near Tamworth, Staffordshire, launched its £1m Drunken Barrels ride on 27 June.
The ride features 12 gyrating barrels carrying a total of 72 passengers, making it Drayton Manor’s highest capacity attraction.
Colin Bryan, Drayton Manor’s managing director, said: “We are constantly looking for new attractions to thrill our visitors and Drunken Barrels is an exciting new addition to our varied collection of rides.”
The park is also home to the Shockwave, Maelstrom, Apocalypse and Splash Canyon rides. Details: www.draytonmanor.co.uk
