Dundee's waterfront project reaches next stage
The next step in the multi million pound transformation of Dundee's waterfront could get the green light next week (28 March).
Councillors will be asked to approve a £598,000 tender for work in Union Street, Dock Street, Yeaman Shore and Whitehall Crescent.
If approved, work is expected to start in April and be completed in Union Street and Yeaman Shore before the busy Christmas shopping period.
Will Dawson, convener of Dundee City Council's city development committee said: "This part of the works includes improvements in Union Street, Dock Street and Whitehall Crescent.
"Taken together these works are essential to the overall success of the waterfront development and will also mean improvements to other areas of the city centre."
