EAS kicks off in Rome
The annual Euro Attractions Show (EAS) has opened for business in Rome, Italy.
Held at the city’s Fiera Roma exhibition centre, the show boasts more than 250 exhibitors and is expecting to attract around 8,000 visitors during the three days.
During the opening ceremony earlier today, it was revealed that the Italian government has agreed a deal with show organisers International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA).
Until now, the government had offered financial assistance to companies wishing to exhibit at another attractions industry event – the Techonofolies show.
The pledge to help with funding, however, has now been transferred to those looking to exhibit at EAS, meaning that the government is now formally backing the IAAPA event.
