EHDC secures Southern Country Park funding
East Hertfordshire District Council (EHDC) has secured additional funding towards the renovation of Southern Country Park, Bishop's Stortford.
In addition to the council's original £10,000 investment, Biffaward has agreed to provide £46,000 towards wetland improvements at the park. Countryside Management Services has committed £10,000 and the Environment Agency has contributed £9,000 to help fund other parts of the scheme.
A EHDC spokesperson said: "A relatively modest contribution by the council has levered in thousands more in major grants."
