The British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences is inviting REPs’ members to earn four CPD points by attending its Annual Conference in September.

The three-day event, to be held at the University of Wolverhampton’s Walsall Campus from 11-13 September, will feature debates on whether the 2012 Olympics will contribute to getting the nation healthier and a day dedicated to Physical Activity for Health (13 September).

Other topics for discussion include Pedometers & Questionnaires; Is exercise bad for you?; What are the real issues on the benefits of increasing physical activity in daily life; Non-Exercise Activity Thermogenesis (NEAT); Working with Exercise Science: Examples of Evidence Based Practice; and Physical Activity Interventions for Health: Targeting the Ageing Population.
