East Lothian golf club project approved
East Lothian Council has approved plans for a new golf and leisure development at the Whitekirk Golf and Country Club at North Berwick, East Lothian.
Under plans passed in early November by the council's planning committee, a second 18-hole golf course will be created at the club, as well as a 100-bedroom hotel, a new clubhouse and 21 holiday lodges. A spokesperson for Whitekirk Golf and Country Club confirmed that contractors will be appointed in due course to take the development forward.
