Edinburgh event to explore leisure opportunities
Access to Sport and Culture (ASC) Edinburgh Conference, a networking event that aims to promote sporting and cultural opportunities in the Scottish capital, is to be held on 8 June.
Representatives from Creative Scotland, EventScotland, Edinburgh Voluntary Organisations Council and BBC Screen will attend the event alongside around 100 delegates. The City of Edinburgh Council is behind the ASC Edinburgh event, which aims to develop partnerships between a range of organisations and increase access to sports and culture.
Council culture and leisure convener Deidre Brock said: "With finances really stretched for organisations just now in both the public and private sectors, ASC Edinburgh demonstrates our council leading by example by promoting creative thinking and innovative strategies."
