Florida-based Elite Med Spa Development Group has named its board of directors to provide strategic oversight and guidance to the fast growing medical spa franchise.

The board includes professionals in the areas of corporate finance, business development, medical affairs, law and the medical spa industry.

New board members include Philip Berg, a former corporate attorney for NY law firm, Cravath, Swaine & Moore; Scott Chandler, medical director at Shaw Science Partners, a pharmaceutical science agency; Richard Fried, a former chief financial officer at Stiefel Labs, a pharmaceutical company and Chris Gregg, co-founder and president of Elite Med Spa Development Group and owner of the first Elite Med Spa unit in Tampa, Florida.

The four are joined by Eric Lindsay, former vice president of business development at McKesson Corporation.

Gregg said: "We are honoured to have assembled such a talented board of directors to enable us to become a leader in the medical spa industry."

Founded in 2003, the privately-owned Elite Med Spa is operated on a franchise basis and offers a range of medical and curative treatments at its sites.
