Eminence organic farm takes a natural approach to wellness
Set amidst lavender, honeysuckle vine and sunflowers in Hungarian farmland, the Eminence Certified organic Farm near the village of Fülöpjakab, officially opens this month.
Taking a natural approach to wellbeing, the farm will teach future generations about the importance of healthy nutrition, organic farming and the positive impact on lifelong wellness through cultural events and educational visits.
Eminence Organic Skin Care was created by hand in the Hungarian countryside more than 55 years ago by the Koronczay family.
At the farm, plants are harvested organically and biodynamically to ensure the nutrients remain in their most potent form. The vitamins harvested in this state give the best possible results for skincare products.
Along with a thatched roof chicken coop, antique grape press, lily pond, water well and traditional langos bread oven, a hand-laid, red brick path – shaped like a tree – curves around seasonal gardens including stone crop, pumpkin, rhubarb, St. John’s Wort, echinacea and peppermint.
Visitors will have the chance to learn about local traditions, time-honoured farming practices and the ancient symbolism used by Hungarians for centuries to inspire crops to flourish and thrive.
“We are so proud to open the gates of this family-friendly, certified organic farm for everyone to see how organic ingredients grow,” said Boldijarre Koronczay, president of Eminence Organic Skin Care and founder of the Eminence Certified Organic Farm, who claims he beat leukemia at the age of four thanks to holistic medicine and an organic diet.
“This farm is also a tribute to the hundreds of dedicated, hardworking Hungarians who have been instrumental in growing Eminence Organic Skin Care from modest beginnings to the celebrated, international brand it is today.”
The award-winning Eminence Certified Organic Farm will be available for guided tours by appointment starting the summer of 2017.
