Emirates airline enters hospitality market
Dubai-based international airline Emirates has launched the Emirates Hotels & Resorts brand as part of its Destination and Leisure Management Division.
The Emirates Hotels & Resorts brand will be used throughout the portfolio, which will be developed in Dubai and other international locations.
The division presently manages the conservation-based Emirates Al Maha Desert Resort & Spa in Dubai, which Emirates say is “being used as the basis of designs and operations” for a second conservation-based property in Australia’s Blue Mountains.
All Emirates Hotels & Resorts’ properties will incorporate Timeless Spas, its luxury spa brand, which was developed from Al Maha’s Jamila Spa.
The group is scheduled to open Emirates Marina Serviced Apartments & Spa, Dubai, in March 2007, and Emirates Green Lakes Serviced Apartments in mid-2007.
