Esporta rolls out Fitcrew
By
Esporta has extended its Fitcrew concept – which was launched last August for 12- to 15-year-olds – to include children from the age of eight.
Fitcrew is a dedicated children’s zone within Esporta’s Devonshire, Clearview, Hamilton and Royal Berkshire clubs.
As well as offering structured exercise sessions, Fitcrew also allows kids to work out on their own in a SHOKK gym, under the supervision of trained instructors.
Following research by Esporta which found that kids today get half the amount of spontaneous exercise than children of their parents generation, Mark Talley, head of fitness, said: “We need to find a way of accommodating kids’ natural inclination to do things which are unstructured and unplanned.” Details: www.esporta.com
