Europa-Park's new restaurant concept takes diners on a literal culinary journey
Europa-Park is preparing for the launch of a new restaurant which will literally offer guests a culinary journey.
Diners at the German theme park's new Eatrenalin restaurant enter a transport system which takes them through a number of different worlds, while enjoying a fine dining experience.
Created by thomas mack and set to open later this year (2022), Eatrenalin combines a luxury restaurant experience with a theme park ride.
Europa-Park has now opened bookings for Eatrenalin, which will offer diners an eight-course menu with a corresponding drink accompaniment.
"With our Floating Chair, a patented new development from MACK Rides, you travel from room to room through the Eatrenalin experience," Europa-Park said.
"It is a floating experience for the whole senses and we will release more information when we officially open."
Eatrenalin will also have a focus on sustainability.
"We live by the philosophy of sustainability and are constantly looking for ways to improve our balance sheet in this regard," Europa-Park said.
"During the construction of Eatrenalin, we mostly worked with regional companies and are planning a high energy standard with KfW55.
"All lighting is LED and we have high requirements in regards to water treatment.
"Where possible, we buy regional, seasonal and organic products. If regional purchasing is not feasible, we pay particular attention to certifications for sustainability. We fill the water ourselves."
The starting point for Eatrenalin is located 300m from from the park's‘Krønasår’ hotel, from where a long footpath leads directly to the location.
