Everton FC pair with Oxygen8 to enhance fan interaction
Premier League club Everton FC has invested in new mobile technology from Oxygen8 Communications to enhance the club's interaction with its fans.
A range of new mobile services will be launched, which include competitions, quizzes, text comments, and 'man of the match' voting, carried by the real-time messaging platform SHOUTLIVE.NET.
The first football club to use this platform, SHOUTLIVE.NET is designed to allow companies to create and run SMS and Premium SMS services quickly and efficiently.
Colin White, UK chief executive of Oxygen8 Communications says: "Everton is able to provide its fans with access to a whole range of new mobile content which helps to increase interaction with supporters, whilst also creating a new revenue stream for the club."
