Exclusive Tourism Masterclass featuring Sir Gerry Robinson – 3 October 2007, Exeter
Fresh from the success of his recent BBC TV series – Can Gerry Robinson Fix the NHS? - Sir Gerry Robinson, one of the UK’s most influential businessmen is headlining an exclusive master class on 3 October in Exeter.
The event, ‘Running a Successful Tourism and Hospitality Business’ is tailored specifically to the needs of managers, owners and directors of tourism, leisure and hospitality businesses in the South West.
Sir Gerry Robinson’s expertise derives from a broad business background including experience in the hospitality industry, creating Compass out of Grand Metropolitan.
At October’s master class, Sir Gerry will be addressing key issues affecting business success, including the importance of effective employee relations and the challenges of running a family business large or small.
Run by The Tourism Skills Network South West and subsidised by funding from the South West of England Regional Development Agency, master class events address skills issues underpinning the regional tourism strategy, and include interactive sessions encouraging participants to generate workable solutions for their own businesses.
