Expansion for thinkOTB
Leisure consultant thinkOTB has announced that it is to operate as three separate companies, OTB Create, OTB CSR and OTB PR.
OTB Create will continue to specialise in creative services and marketing, offering graphic design, web design and print production to health clubs, leisure centres and leisure trusts, as well as a range of tools to create and implement promotions and marketing.
Mark Lee, group chief executive officer of thinkOTB, will continue his involvement with the day-to-day running of OTB Create, supported by Tom Gozna as client services director and Lee Potter as creative director.
OTB CSR will focus on three areas: Fitness Industry Association (FIA) campaigns, sales, and retention.
The company will run the FIA campaigns Commit to Get Fit and Get Active UK, as well as creating two other campaigns, which are scheduled to be launched within the next 18 months.
Innes Kerr, who leaves his role as member services director at the FIA at the end of April, will head up OTB CSR as managing director.
Finally, OTB PR has been launched to provide a web-based PR tool designed to enable local authorities and charitable trusts to implement an effective PR strategy in-house.
Emma-Jayne Sherry, who previously worked for the FIA and Brave PR, is responsible for setting up the web-based solution.
Abigail Harris, who has held positions at the FIA and the Department of Health, and journalist Wendy Golledge, previously deputy editor of Health Club Management, have been appointed as consultants.
ThinkOTB will continue to exist as a holding company. Nick Masson has been appointed as commercial director and Jeremy Bradbury has been appointed to the role of finance director, while Debbi Moore will work as a consultant for thinkOTB across all three companies. Details: www.thinkotb.co.uk
