FCS acquires two Renfrewshire woodlands
Forestry Commission Scotland (FCS) has completed the acquisition of two woodlands from Renfrewshire Council in a move that will see both turned into hubs of greenery and wildlife.
Over the coming years, Bluebell and Rannoch Woods will be thinned to provide more open space and to improve accessibility in order to encourage more people to visit.
FCS site manager Matt Buckland said: "The team is really looking forward to working with the local community to ensure the woods are safe and welcoming."
