FIA and IHRSA sign strategic partnership
The Fitness Industry Association (FIA) and the International Health, Racquet and Sportsclub Association (IHRSA) have signed a partnership agreement which will see the two organisations share strategic knowledge and insights.
The signing of the partnership took place at IHRSA's annual convention in Barcelona last week.
David Stalker, FIA executive director, said: "We are delighted to be working together with IHRSA to get more people across the globe, more active.
"The agreement is a positive step for the global fitness industry and enables us to share best practice and knowledge in order to deliver a more streamlined approach."
Stalker added that both organisations have "equal responsibility" for the success of the partnership.
