FIA appoints Prescott, Mahoney and Gamble to board
The Fitness Industry Association (FIA) has appointed three new directors to its board.
Rosi Prescott, chief executive of Central YMCA and Ian Mahoney, managing director of Reebok Sports Club London both join the board for the first time, while John Gamble, first elected last year while with Technogym, has been re-elected through his new role as managing director of health club chain Fitness First.
“A skilled and proactive trade body is essential, particularly for a relatively young industry like fitness,” said Prescott. “Our united voice must be more resonant, more inspirational and more effective.”
