Fairmont to develop new Californian hotel
Fairmont Hotels & Resorts and Seaside Resort Development are set to build a mixed-use resort in Seaside on the Monterey Bay in northern California, US.
The 330-room hotel will feature 24,000sq ft (2,230sq m) of meeting space, a 14,000sq ft Willow Stream spa (1,300sq m), dining outlets and an outdoor pool on a 440-acre (178-hectare) site, which will also include the existing 36-hole Bayonet and Black Horse golf course facility.
The mixed-use development will also include 170 condominiums and 125 single-family lots.
Fairmont will manage the golf course and resort, which is scheduled for completion in 2009. Details: www.fairmont.com
