Fairmont Hotels & Resorts is set to open a new resort on the southern coast of Bali, Indonesia in 2016.
Malaysian-based Denniston International will be responsible for the design and architecture of Fairmont Bali, which will feature 170 guest rooms and suites.
Located on a bluff on the Balinese coastline, the resort will have a luxury spa as well as an 18-hole golf course and a range of dining options.
Fairmont Bali will also house an 80-room Raffles Bali, featuring one, two or three bedroom villas and branded residences with private plunge pools, outdoor dining and relaxation areas.
Jennifer Fox, President, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts said: "Our entry into Bali marks the company's first resort in South East Asia and will provide our guests with a rich and beautiful holiday destination in the region."
"Expanding our global footprint is a key brand strategy and this resort will complement our existing hotels such as the recently opened Fairmont Makati in Manila and Fairmont Jaipur as well as the Fairmont Jakarta which will open in 2015."
