Fairmont to run Sonoma resort
Toronto-based Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has reached an agreement with Crescent Real Estate Equities to manage the Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa in Sonoma County, California.
Fairmont also acquired a 19.9 per cent equity interest in the resort for a sum of $19m. The 75-year old, 228 room resort is in the heart of California's wine country and has been built as a replica of an old Spanish-style religious mission. Its recently expanded private spa facility boasts its own source of thermal mineral water.
