St Michael’s Hotel Health Club & Spa in Falmouth has undergone a redevelopment of it fitness facilities, which included doubling the size of its existing gym.
The £250,000 investment by owners Nigel and Julie Carpenter includes a new large fitness studio and dedicated spin studio.
Cybex and Technogym cardio and resistance machines have been installed in the gym alongside suspension training systems and free weights equipment.
The spin studio features Keiser spin bikes, cinematic video projections and full photographic wall designs, which aim to immerse visitors in the experience of a high intensity road race during classes.
The (753sq ft) 70sq m fitness studio will host a new range of fitness classes, including Les Mills group exercise programmes Bodypump, Bodycombat and Bodybalance amongst others.
Owner Nigel Carpenter said: “St Michael’s Spa & Health Club has always been popular and we’ve had a waiting list to join. We can now reward those patient enthusiasts for their long wait with extensive, top of the range facilities.
“The two new studios are dedicated to group exercise classes which offer more than just physical benefits but are highly motivational and are a great way of meeting new people.”
