Fears grow for stolen Egyptian artefacts
The whereabouts of a number of artefacts, stolen from the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities in Cairo during the recent political unrest, is still unclear.
The museum, located next to the capital's now famous Tahrir Square, was broken into by a group of protesters and the plundered artefacts include a gilded wooden statue showing the boy pharaoh Tutankhamun being carried by a goddess.
During the break-in on 28 January, a number of artefacts were damaged but the thefts were only confirmed by the minister of state for antiquities, Zahi Hawass, over the weekend.
