Fergusson named honorary president of STA Scotland
Alex Fergusson, the member of the Scottish Parliament for Galloway and Upper Nithsdale, has been appointed the honorary president of Swimming Teachers’ Association (STA) Scotland.
Mr Fergusson will formally represent STA Scotland by helping to raise awareness of the association.
STA Scotland was launched in August 2009 as part of efforts to raise the profile of STA in Scotland.
It is managed by an elected Scottish Council on behalf of the STA, tasked with representing the interests of the STA’s Scottish members in respect of the different cultural, legal and academic systems.
