Fifth Brodie’s wine bar site opens in London
London wine bar group Brodie & Knight has opened its fifth Brodie’s site.
Costing in the region of £300,000 and situated adjacent to St Paul’s Cathedral, the 3,500sq ft wine bar is located within the William Whitfield-designed Paternoster Square. It joins other Brodie’s sites in the City and Canary Wharf.
Incorporating bar, restaurant and lounge areas, the interior design theme blends art nouveau and contemporary ideas throughout with a colour palette of claret and terracotta accompanied by large, 1920s murals in the entrance area.
Managing director Jeremy Brodie, said: “We’re absolutely delighted with our newest wine bar. The designers have taken the concept forward, which will become the benchmark for new refurbishments and new Brodie’s alike.
“We hope our customers will be equally impressed and we look forward to being of service.”
