First body workshop at Frederique Academy
Asian training institute The Frederique Academy in central Hong Kong and the US-based Cortiva University have co-created a massage workshop to increase the knowledge base of practising spa therapists.
The new body therapist workshops have been designed within three modules by Grant Lessard of the Cortiva Institute and will be delivered in English, available with Cantonese translation on request.
The Frederique Academy and the Cortiva Institute are also working with the spa arm of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group to launch a new internship programme for spa graduates.
The Frederique Academy programme offers new graduates the opportunity to enter the spa industry in Hong Kong, Macau and mainland China via a three-month long internship while the Cortiva Institute offers students a similar opportunity in the US.
