First phase of Dellis Cay to open by 2010
The first development phase of a 560-acre (227-hectare) private island retreat in the Turks & Caicos, British West Indies, will open in 2010.
Managed by the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, the Dellis Cay resort and spa property will be divided into seven lifestyle areas, each of which is being designed by a different master architect. Commissioned architects include Kengo Kuma and Shigeru Ban of Japan.
The first project phase includes residences by Italian designer Piero Lissoni. Further phases will include lake villas designed by Kuma, each with a private spa. Details: delliscay.com
