Fitness First in St Albans
Fitness First health club is to be the first occupier of the refurbished Christopher Place in St Albans, Hertfordshire.
The 13,000sq ft site represents the company's first club in the centre and is an important element of plans to fully integrate Christopher Place, the new mixed-use development, into the historic Cathedral Quarter of the city.
We expect Fitness First will attract a good number of evening and weekend visitors to the city centre, which will have a positive effect on trade for shops and restaurants in and around Christopher Place, said Neil Carron, Project Director at Allied London. Fitness First health club h is scheduled to open in January 2002.
