Fitness on a higher plane
Designed to bring fitness to the skies, Crunch Fitness and JetBlue Airways have launched Airplane Yoga.
Yoga cards, illustrating easy-to-assume positions that can be achieved without moving from the leather-upholstered seats, are in seat-back pockets on all flights. It's hoped the exercises will help passengers relax and improve well-being.
A more down to earth way of reducing stress are the bright yellow punch bags Crunch is installing at JetBlue's JFK terminal. Labelled with tags such as 'miss your flight?', 'forget where you parked the car?' and 'left the iron on?' they should cause a laugh ... unless one of the phrases rings a bell.
