FlowRider set for global distribution
Waterpark attraction manufacturer WhiteWater West Industries has reached an agreement with Wave Loch to manufacture and sell the FlowRider stationary sheet wave attraction to its customers outside North America.
The FlowRider generates a thin sheet of water that flows at 20mph over a stationary wave form. The resulting "wave" permits riders to ride up, carve turns and ride down the wave face. It is available in a single, double and junior version,
"This is a very exciting time for our company," said Geoff Chutter, President of WhiteWater. "The FlowRider is a highly popular and proven product which complements our existing waterpark attractions.
"Since FlowRiding is a sport, participants improve their skill and desire to ride again, resulting in high repeat user visitations, and thus income, for the park owners."
"Surfing is our passion and this agreement helps share our passion with the world," added Tom Lochtefeld, founder and CEO of Wave Loch.
"Our license with WhiteWater will extend the Southern California dream of surf, beach and fun around the globe."
