Flybe increases European routes
Flybe, the Exeter-based low-faire airline, has announced that it is looking to treble its capacity from its home airport.
It is to expand its flights from Exeter to Alicante and Malaga while new UK routes will include Glasgow, Edinburgh and Belfast.
The announcement came just a week after plans to expand the Exeter International Airport were announced.
Funding for the £3.5m scheme will come from both private and public sectors and will create around 100 full-time jobs within the next five years. Details: www.flybe.com
