Football supporter dies after Stoke City match
A 30-year-old football supporter has died after sustaining head injuries in an incident at a match between Stoke City Football Club and Blackburn Rovers Football Club on 6 February.
The supporter, who has been named by Staffordshire Police as John Taylor from Darwen, died in hospital after the incident, which occurred in the South Stand of Stoke City's Britannia Stadium - an area occupied by away fans. Staffordshire Police is now appealing for witnesses to help establish what caused the incident.
