Medical skin-tech brand FAQ Swiss – owned by Foreo – has expanded its collection with the FAQ 200 Collection of smart silicone LED face masks.

Launched in January, the FAQ Swiss brand has unveiled two devices that feature lightweight and hygienic smart Swiss design; FAQ 202 and FAQ 201.

FAQ 202 – the premium model – uses 600 light replicators and eight different wavelengths of LED light (red, blue, green, orange, purple, cyan and yellow), including Near Infrared (NIR) light therapy to tackle signs of ageing and other skin concerns.

Meanwhile, FAQ 201 is a lighter cheaper version that uses four wavelengths of LED.

Both devices are wireless, with an open-eye flexi-fit silicone design and a non-slip headband. The smart face masks are also app-connected and feature pre-programmed treatments (up to 15 minutes long) as well as the option to design your own treatments.

The FAQ 202 is retailing for £719 (US$900, €815), while the FAQ 201 is being sold for £449 (US$562, €509).

“We were always told we need to book appointments with professionals to get the best anti-ageing results,” explained Foreo and FAQ Swiss founder, Filip Sedic.

“FAQ Swiss decided to be the one to change that belief and to make professional-level anti-ageing treatments available to people around the globe. Ultimately, we’re empowering people to feel confident using these technologies in the comfort of their homes.”

With the global LED light face mask market set to grow by 11.9 per cent from its current value of US$238.1m (€215.6m £190.1m) by 2030, Foreo and FAQ Swiss feel now is the perfect time to lead the way with innovation within this category.

The use of NIR LED lights has been proven to help stimulate collagen production, reduce fine lines, sun spots and inflammation on the skin and brighten the complexion.

FAQ Swiss plan to partner with clinics, spas and salons to provide its line both for use within treatments and for consumers to purchase.
