Forrec scoops Shanghai sci/tech scheme
Forrec has emerged as the winner of an international competition to lead the design and development of Phase 2 of the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum (SSTM), scheduled to open in 2004.
Phase 1 opened in 2001 as part of the Chinese government's policy of revitalising the nation through science and technology, and included exhibits on the environment, geography and geology of the Earth.
Phase 2 features six exhibit areas spanning the earth sciences, nuclear physics, space exploration, human biology and robotics.
As well as handling master-planning and design, Forrec will represent the client with exhibit manufacturers and staging fabricators in co-ordinating the project's construction. Details: +1 416 696 8866
