Four Seasons Hotel Houston has partnered with Clean the World to recycle soaps and bottled amenities from guest rooms and distribute them to underprivileged children and families around the world.

The aim of the initiative is to improve sanitary conditions and stop the spread of preventable diseases.

The recycled toiletries will be distributed to families in the US, Canada and 45 other countries where Clean the World distributes hygiene supplies.

The hotel says the scheme will help others benefit from the abundance of resources that are often taken for granted.
