Fourth club for France’s Fitlane
French health club operator Fitlane opened its fourth site on 31 March.
Located in the Sophia Antipolis technology park near Antibes and Nice, the 1m euro, 1,100sq m (11,850sq ft) club has sold 700 memberships in pre-sale, with capacity for 2,000.
Facilities at the Star Trac-equipped club include a fitness suite with resistance equipment, freeweights and more than 150 CV stations, plus group exercise and Spinning studios.
The only club in the area, it will target nearby companies; usage is expected to focus on early morning and lunchtime. However, membership includes reciprocal access to the chain’s three other clubs.
