Freedom Leisure scoops hockey club contract
Not-for-profit leisure trust, Freedom Leisure, has now taken over the operation of Holcome Hockey Club facilities.
Chosen because of its reputation for increasing community engagement and providing affordable, accessible activities, Freedom Leisure will be working closely with Medway Council to promote sports participation in the local area.
Managing director of Freedom Leisure, Ivan Horsfall Turner, says: “Our work with other venues including Three Hills Sports Park in Folkestone and East Grinstead Sports Club in Sussex allows us to bring a wealth of experience to the operation of Holcombe Hockey Club.”
Chair of the club, David South, says this will steamline the club’s operational aspects and give support for the further development of the facility.
