Ftness First opens 500th club
UK-based health club chain Fitness First has opened its 500th club – in the centre of Sydney, Australia.
The club is the group’s fourth in Sydney and 66th in Australia, with a further 15 scheduled to open by the end of this year.
Fitness First Australia’s managing director Tony de Leede says: “After six years of operation, Fitness First Australia has become the global benchmark of our group, contributing 30 per cent of the value of the company, despite operating just one eighth of the clubs globally.”
