Funding package for Pembrokeshire towns
Plans to improve community facilities and restore the heritage of two Pembrokeshire towns are to benefit from Welsh Assembly Government funding.
A £2.5m package - supported the Safer Routes to Communities initiative and the European Union - will go towards the local authority's Haven Towns Regeneration scheme. New facilities are to be provided as part of a revamped Pater Hall in Pembroke Dock, while a new walking and cycling route will be created between Monkton and Pembroke town.
Key historic buildings will also be restored.
