Further expansion for Danat Hotels in Abu Dhabi
Danat Hotels & Resorts – the hospitality division of the Abu Dhabi-based National Corporation for Tourism & Hotels – is set to announce further expansion plans in order to capitalise on the government’s aim of increasing visitor numbers fourfold within the next 10 years.
So far this year, the group has launched the 109-room Danat Resort Jebel Dhanna and opened a boutique hotel – the 110-room Ala Raha Beach.
Managing director, Abdulla Al Romaithi, said: “Danat Hotels & Resorts will add to the appeal of Abu Dhabi as a new destination on the tourist map.”
The company has eight owned and/or managed hotles in the UAE, including the InterContinental Abu Dhabi, and the Hilton Rabat in Morocco. Details: www.ncth.com
