Hertsmere Leisure is set to unveil a new Shokk children’s gym next month at the Furzefield Centre in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire.

The 117sq m (1,260sq ft) facility, will include 25 pieces of equipment including treadmills, revolve bikes, steppers, leg press, shoulder press, chest press, cable crossover, leg extension, seated row and free weights.

The gym, which is being entirely funded by Hertsmere Leisure, is being created within existing office space at the centre, which also boasts a Beaumonts Health Club, a separate health suite and treatment rooms, two dance studios, a swimming pool, sports hall, artificial sports pitch, a café, a bar and a crèche.

Hertsmere Leisure operates four further leisure centre sites in Hertsmere and plans to roll Shokk children’s gyms out across the group depending on the success of the first site – due to open in mid-October. Details: www.hertsmereleisure.co.uk
