Sports nutrition specialist EAS has introduced two new products into the UK.

Launched by EAS user Cindy Crawford at a presentation in London, the company's portfolio of products now includes AdvantEdge, a range of low carb, high nutrient bars, shakes and meal replacements designed to provide the best balance of carbohydrates, protein and essential vitamins and minerals.

AdvantEdge Carb Control is for weight watchers, the bars being available in Chocolate Fudge, Strawberry and Lemon flavours and the ready-to-drink shakes in Chocolate and Strawberry and Vanilla.

For active people looking for an energy boost, AdvantEdge Complete Nutrition is a further line of bars and shakes, the former in Chocolate Orange and Strawberry Crunch flavours and the latter in Chocolate, Vanilla & Strawberry and Strawberry. The shakes also come in power form to make up to a drink.

Also new are Body-for-LIFE bars and drinks, created to provide a nutritious snack between meals. The 50g bars include15g of protein, have 18 - 21 added vitamins and minerals and are a three-layer crisp bar in any of Peanut Caramel, Double Chocolate, Cookies & Cream and Chocolate Mint Cookie flavours.

The 330ml ready-to-drink shakes comprise15g of protein, between 23 and 25 vitamins and minerals, only 14gms of sugar and can be enjoyed in either Chocolate Fudge, Creamy Vanilla or Strawberry Cream flavours.

The Body-for-LIFE range was inspired by the EAS fitness challenge of the same name, now in its 10th year and the 2004 winner of which - Lazo Yassin - was announced by Cindy at the launch.
