Gala Coral to seek new chief executive
UK-based bingo hall and casino operator Gala Coral has announced that chief executive Dominic Harrison is set to step down from his role to pursue "new career opportunities".
Executive chair Neil Goulden has been named interim chief executive while the company begins its search for a replacement, after Harrison confirmed plans to leave Gala Coral after six years. Harrison, who was appointed chief executive in October 2008, is set to remain with Gala Coral until 1 October to ensure a smooth transition to Goulden.
"After six years with Gala Coral it is time to seek fresh challenges. I wish Neil and the rest of the team all the best as they take the company forward to the next phase in its development and ensure that it remains at the forefront of the sector," said Harrison.
