Garland Leisure acquires two bowling venues
Garland Leisure has announced that it has acquired tenpin bowling venues in Aldershot and Wolverhampton - its third such deal in recent weeks.
Edward Symmons' hospitality and leisure division has completed the purchase on behalf of the group, which includes Aldershot Bowling and Strykers Tenpin Bowling Centre. It follows the acquisition of Blackpool Bowl earlier this month, and the purchase of 11 sites from AMF Bowling in November 2010.
The 16-lane Aldershot Bowling venue has been bought from private operators, while the 24-lane Strykers facility in Bushbury, Wolverhampton, has been secured on a 25-year lease.
