Gary Rhodes to open two Dorset sites
Celebrity chef Gary Rhodes has signed a deal with Harbour Hotels to open two new restaurants in Christchurch, Dorset.
The restaurants will be located at the Christchurch Harbour Hotel (formerly the Avonmouth Hotel) and King’s (formerly the King’s Arms Hotel) and be called Rhodes South and King’s Rhodes respectively.
Rhodes South will be an 80-cover restaurant in a new custom-built, carbon-neutral building, while King’s Rhodes will be a 100-cover bar and brasserie.
The new restaurants are being created in a £7m restoration of the two hotels, which have been both been converted into four-star hotels following a modernisation programme.
Harbour Hotels is a division of the Nicolas James Group, the property venture capital group owned by Nicolas Roach.
