Genoa-themed ride design competition
The European Association Amusement Supplier Show has teamed up with the University of Genoa to stage a design competition based on park rides and attractions.
Final year students have been asked to design a Genoa-themed ride, 'Una giostra per Genova', to commemorate the city, which will host the first Euro Amusement Show.
Organisers say the competition will raise the profile of the parks and attractions sector. The prize for the best design is an all-expenses paid trip for two to Euro Disney at Euro Amusement Show, which takes place at the Fiera di Genova exhibition centre in 29-31 January 2003.
