Gerbeau appointed non-executive chair at La Manga
PY Gerbeau, who has worked on such projects as Disneyland Paris and the Millenium Dome, has been appointed as non-executive chair to the five-star La Manga Club resort in Spain.
Known for restructuring many large corporations and with successful involvement in high profile projects, Gerbeau will work with the La Manga Club management team to oversee strategy and further implement their vision for the future.
A statement from the La Manga Club board of directors said: “Gerbeau's experience within the leisure sector and his engaging profile will be invaluable and will assist in positioning La Manga Club as one of the top European sports and destination resorts.”
La Manga Club boasts three 18-hole championship golf courses, a 28-court tennis centre, 2,000sq m (21,500sq ft) spa and a fitness centre in addition to a five-star hotel, four star serviced apartments and more than 20 bars and restaurants.
