Ghost Walks at Explosion!
Explosion! Museum of Naval Firepower is to host a series of Ghost Walks throughout January and February, following investigations into ghostly sightings at the former Armaments Depot of Priddy’s Hard in Gosport where the museum is situated.
Museum staff have uncovered stories of 12 bloody deaths which took place at Priddy’s Hard in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries and plan to take visitors on tours of the site – including a room where a blood stain reportedly reappears in the room where a munitions worker was killed in a blast.
The walks have already sold out and the museum plans to hold a second series in the autumn. Details: www.explosion.org.uk
